Any thoughts on what this might be? I’ve gone down the google rabbit hole trying to figure it out and I’m stuck between red coraline or cyano. My tank is 2 months old and these spots started popping up a few days ago. It started after I began putting the lights on consistently. My water levels are good so I’m hoping this is a natural thing but I could be wrong. I just wanna make sure this algae isn’t a sign of something problematic.

I wouldn't be concerned. At 2 months you're probably just scratching the surface of the ugly phase. Algae is a normal progression of dry rock and things are going to get much worse. Ensure parameters and increase CuC as necessary. Manual removal of any excessive during water changes.

Thanks! I got a few snails and will keep the lights on minimally.
