Reef mat 500 intake hose

I have a question not sure if anyone has the answer. I was wondering if the hose with the 90 degree angle on the 250 would fit the 500 it would open up space in my sump to be able to have a 90 on there. I have asked Red Sea and they gave me a generic answer. I would have bought one if they had them in stock to try since it’s only 12 bucks from brs. Has anyone tried this yet. I’m thinking it might since they are sold out lol.

For those like me still googling this - the answer I got from Red Sea was a straight no. The connectors on the 250 are different to those on the 500 and 1200. It’s a pity.

Yeah that's what i found out too. I ended up just making my own.
