I've built a very small system. It is a 5 gallon display with a 2.5 gallon sump. And I am trying to find a return pump suitable for such a small setup.

The tank is plumbed with 1/2 inch bulkheads and uses 1/2 PVC for the return and drain lines. Head height is 24".

The current pump is 800gph and can adjusted. The problem is the the intake is on the side of the pump, requiring me to keep the entire sump filled to capacity. So I need something smaller, not in pumping compact but in profile.

Recommendations?

Thank you,
Dom

Maybe the smallest IM MightyJet?

I had a look. Good choice! Definitely in the running. But I may have to order it to see the footprint and do a test install.

IM should have the length x width specs on their website. I know it's the same one they use in their 10-gallon cube tanks.
