I was in a Korean grocery recently and found this stuff called "Salted freshwater krill".

Ingredients: krill, salt, water.
Cost about $6 for 1.1lb. My tangs and wrasses started eating it from the first feeding, never thought twice before swallowing.

Looks like a great deal:
- great price,
- ratio of krill to water is better than any fish food I've seen,
- no BS ingredients like Citric/Ascorbic/Sorbic Acids etc.,
- fish love it,
- human food grade,
- ready to be fed, no need to unfreeze.

Has anyone tried that? Am I missing something?

I would think this would be a great addition to a fish diet, but being freshwater the nutrients and fats might be best as a supplemental food? Otherwise, I'd feed my fish that stuff, now and again.

Mysis is freshwater too, right? Many hobbyists feed it as the main food with good results.

These are shrimp sauce! They are very very salty. We use this to pickle vegetable and stuff.

Mysis occur in fresh and salt, I am not certain where the industry get them from?
