My 12g Caulerpa Forest...

does the caulerpa bother any of your corals? i.e. cover them up and kill them?

here is my 20g nano about 3 years ago.

The Caulerpa will irritate zoas if it's growing around a polyp and make them not want to open fully, so weekly trimming is needed around them. It usually dies or at least halts when it gets to an SPS, especially millis, and LPS it just grows around the base or where ever there is exposed rock or old skeleton.

It is definitely more aesthetically damaging than coral damaging, and hasn't killed a coral in the two years this nano has been going. I'd still be willing to pay a couple grand for a creature/product that would completely decimate it though.
