Does anybody know how to get rid of sodium silicate that has hardened on the aquarium front glass? It has dried up and hardened. I remove most of it with a razer blade but it's impossible to remove the rest. I tried some alcohol and vinegar but that doesn't work. Does it need a basic solution to dissolve? It leaves an ugly streak down the middle of the tank. Any suggestions.

I bought the loudwolf sodium silicate. It had dripped out of my syringe I was dosing and onto the front glass. I thought since it was easy to dissolve with ro di water that I will get to in later to wipe. It had harden a day later and had to scraped off. It was partially scraped off but left a white streak.
