Hello all! I have a Maxima clam that has been in my tank for about a week now. It seems to be doing very well, opening fully everyday and putting its foot down.
I noticed two small things growing on it's shell. They look a bit like tiny worms that don't move. I tried to get a picture, but they are very small so forgive the poor quality. Also you can't see them with the mantel fully out, so I took the picture while my snails were bugging it.
Do you all know what these things are? I am thinking I should manually remove them from the shell but wanted to check for more experienced opinions.
What do you all think?

Make sure you get it down to the base cuz that’s where the actual creature lives

But if you have one you probably have more

Not a bad idea to try and clean them off your clam

There are definitely two that I see on the clam, I am pretty sure they cam into the tank on the clam.
I will make sure to get it all off.
Thanks for the advice!
