Tank is filling up!
So I went SPS/frag crazy this weekend. Some friends from WAMAS really hooked it up!
I think I need to just let the tank grow out and wait focus on water quality. Maybe a few more fish too

Really cool blue SPS. I couldn't get a picture to show the bue. It is VERRRRY blue and glows.

I beat Cyno! At the worst point all three walls were covered in Cyno along with portions of the sand. I started off with blasting all the cyno off the sand, walls and rocks with a turkey baster. I then completed a 10 gallon water change. I also stopped using filter socks because I can't keep up with changing them every 2-3 days. Lastly, I blacked out the refugium for 3 days because it was also coveredin Cyno. It's been 2 weeks and no signs of a cyno out break.
Travis picked up all his corals today that I was baby sitting for his new tank build. Now everythign in the tank is mine!
The tank is now 2.5 months old.

I forgot that I also cut when all the days bulbs come on by 2 hours and cut the actinics 1 hour. So I really only have one less hour of light but more time with just actinics on.
Actinics on at 8am and off at 8:15pm
Days on at 11am and off at 7pm
They get a long sun rise and shorter sunset.

I'm hopin to add more SPS. Love watching the little frags grow. Just ordered the frag pack that Mr. Coral is sellilng with the clam. I'll post some pics once it comes in.

Kids are napping and I'm waiting to go to the inlaws for turkey so I had nothing better to do than take an updated video. I know the quality sucks but you get to see movement!
The big Hippo tang is a resuce from another tank. She has massive amount of HLLE. However, her fins are already starting to grow back with with my home made seafood mixture.
