Chevron and Vlamingii Tangs. I kinda don’t care for the Sunburst Anthias or Borbonius. Squarespots are my favorite anthias by far.

Customer picture of Harlequin Filefish around 2010-2011. Everyone in the shop pitched in getting them to eat frozen food like Cyclopeeze and Hikari Mysis by pressing the food into Acropora skeletons. We did a single one at first, then a group of 4. 3 of those 4 ate frozen the one that wouldn’t went into our 750g SPS reef with huge colonies. The pair went into a mature 1000g reef.

Zebra Dartfish, Choati Wrasse, there’s a pair of Rose Band (roseafascia) Wrasse in there as well to name a few favorites.

Hopefully I can find more pictures. We had ridiculous Angelfish & Tangs in the 1000g fish only display at the time. I’m talking Gem, Black & Dussumier Tangs. Tinker’s, Semilarvatus & Australian Black Butterflies. Conspic, Personatus, Personifer Angels and more I can’t even remember. Rhinopias and even a Port Jackson shark that was my baby until Game & Fish made us give it to Sea Life Aquarium because we didn’t have the proper permits.

Those Harlequin filefish are neat!
I agree! Like a lot of fish in the hobby, when you see them up close the first time, it’s a clear and vivid memory. The sharpness of the color pattern and the way the markings around the eyes move with them is fun to see.
