I think this is great! I own an older AVAST GS-1 and have coupled it with a Swabbie and Locker. Have not had to look at my skimmer for the past month. The shutoff switch for when the Locker gets too full also comes in handy. I would love to have another one for my other setup which has a bit smaller space in the sump for a skimmer and this would fit the bill.

I have a Swabbie that I have been running on my Octo Extreem 300 for about two weeks now and its great! I always had to adjust the skimmer to keep it working correctly but I have not had to touch it since I installed the self cleaner. Thumbs up for a great product.
