Tank support

I have an aqueon 55 gallon led tank and I wanted to run blades and was worried about my center support, it doesn’t feel like it’s supporting any kind of weight, it came with led hoods and that’s what it used to support those I was curious if it was achievable to remove it

I think it is there for a reason, structurally.

No its is not removable. Its helps hold the tank together.
