Love the aqua scape on that tank. Unique, natural, and beautiful.
How do you feed your leopard?
I feed her through broadcast feeding and she eats all that she wants :)

She eats anything from Frozen to certain pellets.

Clam update!

The great big hole in the middle of his mantle is healing up nicely, as for the gaping it’s getting better but much more slowly.

Well, I couldn’t resist… I wanted a female but couldn’t pass on a stunning male.

Also picked up a new Randall’s Pistol Shrimp to give the yasha some company in the burrows.

And look how clean the tank is now! A bit of perseverance and hope goes a long way after a crash :)

Well, I left the tanks just after this water change and came back today.
To my surprise, the 3 wrasses are all out and loving life. Infact, I don’t think the tank ever looked more active.

And another thing that shocked me… it’s spotless. There was maybe 1 piece of algae I could make out, everything else has gone. No hair algae, no cyano, just coralline.

Wow! Been fighting a battle of GHA, isn't harming anything but I always procrastinate removing it lol, I have tufts of it that are a foot tall :upside-down-face:

Just be glad it's a clown goby! My LFS had a damselfish jump into the overflow box in their 300 gallon display, took weeks to get him out lol
I’ve found a Mccosker’s Flasher in the sump of my LFS’s fish system. Don’t know how but it was pure luck.

I’ve also had a Naokoae, Lubbocki and my Finifenmaa get into my sump in the 4’ tank. It’s never fun when they do that as the sump gets torn apart.

It may be a PITA but trust me, it will be worth it.
I love watching tanks go through the dirties but I hate the fight.

@Miami Reef look what I found today ;)

You know what I said about your green Maxima? I couldn’t resist my own green maxima!

I also saw one very unusually elegant looking coral.

A (Mostly) FTS from this morning, probably going to load the tank with frags in the next few days or so.
IMG_8316.jpeg
WOW! Where did all the cyano go? Last time I saw this tank it looked a mess (no offense lol). Now it looks glamorous.

What did you do? Did you use chemiclean?

I used the Gobies for the week and then I added the gorgeous male pintail. Then left the tank for 3-4 days, returned home and it was pristine!
So I’ve decided I’m going to be treating myself this week and next week.

Did you ever change the activated carbon like I suggested? The tank looks sparkly.

You definitely deserve a nice treat for getting it to look like this. I’m pleasantly surprised.
