Spent a few hours cleaning out a TON of Xenia Sunday night. Redid my rock work. Here are some updated pictures.

nice colors in there... nice to see a tank that isn't mostly green..

Haha yeah. I've tried to not go all out with green stuff.

Looks good bro! How did you clean the xenia out?

Thanks rev!

That process was a fun one. I waited for my WC change day, I do a 5g weekly WC. I called a buddy over and we went to town. We pulled all of the rock piece by piece out of the tank and took tweezers to the base of each one. Some came off easily, some didn't. The whole process took about 4-5 hours. It was a long night, but well worth it. The Xenia we saved went into my sump, some went onto frag plugs, and the rest is floating in a breeder box/net in my frag tank for some local guys to come get and toss into their sumps.

Long time no update. Been slammed with business stuff that the DT has been neglected. I've really lost interest in the LEDs I had so I went with a 6 bulb T5 instead. Doing a water change Monday I notice the Xenia and Kenya tree over running my tank was melting. Wasn't sure if it was the light swap or what. Did a full water test and discovered my alk was at 6dkh. Montis, acros, and LPS were all happy. Even my mushrooms are happy. Not sure what caused the drop or the Xenia to melt, but I'm not complaining.

Few updates. Added some fish I've always wanted. Added a Vertex Omega 150 skimmer which had made such a huge difference in the tank.

Few photo updates
