Looking for some advice. I was sold this as a dragon soul and it’s been doing well for the last month. About 5 days ago I started losing torches and this is the 3rd one that’s not looking good now. Got my ICP test results back and they are. Salinity 34ppt nitrate 5.6 PO4 .06 calcium 452 magnesium 1312 which is a little low. Temp 25.3 and Alk 8.8

Tank is about 7 months old. I have some hammers in which are doing great.

What is all the white stuff on the skeleton? That's my first guess about the problem.

I would also do some iodine dip and possibly QT and do a cipro treatment. Possibly a full tank cipro.

But start with whatever is going on at the base.

@ISpeakForTheSeas would probably know what that white worm like stuff is.

I agree with @Sleeping Giant , looks like a sponge and usually harmless but it does appear to be growing into the polyps which could be irritating it. You could just manually remove it. Params look fine but I agree magnesium needs a bump. Torches seem to thrive at about 1400. That leaves light and flow. Light 150-200 par and moderate veritable flow.

I would brush off with a soft toothbrush
