9-30-16 - Mighty Magnet F6 arrived in the mail.
So far I am impressed

Flipper max wasn’t doing the job with the 1 inch acrylic.

Algae cutter bag - did its job well
633b3bd77ac2a3950bd55f2dfafa9645.jpg
it feels like a nylon mesh.

Dozer pad (not tested yet)-

Thinks I like:
Very strong and well packaged
Good quality
Nice case to extra pads
Cuts all algae with algae cutter bag

Things I don’t:
Cost- ouch
The white stands out. Get the black one.
A little wide

12-11-18 - Been fighting a cyano outbreak on my sand bed. After some chemiclean and some waterchanges it is getting a little better. Sadly, I am pretty sure now that Vibrant liquid aquarium cleaner NUKED and Melted my chaeto algae. So I pulled out all the nuked algae and will clean the rocks up more. Talking with some other about Vibrant it seems that it often creates Cyano outbreaks and has nuked chaeto before as well. Waiting for new algae to come in now and give the refugium a reset.

01-07-19- Found that I had bryopsis algae problem starting and made the huge mistake of trying to treat it with Reef flux on Thursday 01-03-19 night. By Friday all the fish where stressed the hell out. Up to this point, I have been doing 50-gallon water changes and have done a total of 4. I have replaced and ramped up carbon. Getting ready to add Seachem Gel and Poly filters today. The big trigger is sadly still hiding up in the corners of the tank and refusing to eat. :-( Really Really sucks, Going to try magnesium once all of this crap calms down.

1-7-19 - male Crosshatch is in the QT with the Broomtail. Crosshatch will stay until he starts eating again.

Broomtail is under observation now as copper has been removed today.

02-28-19 - Haven't updated my thread in a while. Happy to say that the crosshatch trigger is eating. The broomtail and Crosshatch are all in the main display. The bryopsis algae has been dealt with. I did wind up having to use Flux Rx - Bryopsis and Green Hair Algae Treatment - Blue Life USA. I switched brands and added it slower this time with no issues. I was pretty worried when I did this. I have a feeling it is a quality control issue with the other brand REEFHD. They never responded to my email...reading some of the amazon reviews suggests this also. In any event the tank seems to have cleared up. The Bryopsis is gone from what I can tell. I was on a Disney Cruise in the Caribbeans and just got back. Hence why no updates for so long. The male trigger is eating like a pig again and so does the Broomtail wrasse. Need to do a water change soon and post some pictures soon.

Fluconazole works extremely well against bryopsis, FYI. One dose and you're done. No ill effects to anything else, at least not in my experience.
