Old style Osmulator pump fails to turn on.

System starts with all lights to green then to yellow for the 10-15sec prime but the pump doesn’t activate. There is a low, almost inaudible hum.

Troubleshooting I’ve tried-
-moving the water level sensor
-cleaning the sensor
-cleaning the connection leads
-re-seating the leads
-unplugging and trying after hours or next day
-turning the pump upside down to remove air
-turning the propeller manually to make sure it isn’t locked

I’m pretty sure the pump is shorted. I was just about to order the high jet as a replacement, but I figured I’d post here to make sure I’m not missing something.

The unit worked flawlessly. I broke it down for a few months and when I plugged it all back in nada.

Yes, I would say this is definitely a dead pump.
