Turning Filter Pumps off when cleaning glass?

Should I turn my sump “Filtration,” off, to benefit my Corals and Anemones when cleaning the glass? Should it be done after the lights are out? Open for discussion.

There isn't really any benefit. You really want the filter on to suck up the crap from the glass.
