Don't know what to call it looks like a coral it has the purple ends on it looks like a feather dusterWhat exactly are you asking about?
yesThis?!!
It’s like all brown algae, only it’s very light brown, I have a clump the size of a golfball in my 350 rock scape and it’s always there. I’ve even scrubbed it off with a wire brush… it just grows back. Keep you nutrientes low and it will go away… I did have some on my glass before… gone forever.
Probably because my skimmer stopped working over a two weeks ago. Tried new impeller no good. Just received new one today. Hope your correct worried something BADIt’s like all brown algae, only it’s very light brown, I have a clump the size of a golfball in my 350 rock scape and it’s always there. IT IS NOT TELLOW. at least not now. It is an off darker green with little flower pots on the little branches . The whole thing is about an inch and a half round ballIt really looks like these zoas. Double check.
So is it something that needs immediate attention?Colonial hydroids most likely.
Sorry do not know what that is does it need to be addressed?Ugly brown palys
Either colonial hydroids or yellow polyp corals. Hard to tell on phone as they are distant in the picThis?!!
Some people, not many. Like them. I would pull that rock, use tweezers at the base of the hydroids and remove them. They can spread like wild fire.So is it something that needs immediate attention?
