What . That is the most bizarre statement I've ever heard .
Yea. Just didnt want to get the convo caught up in ethics. Looking back I could have handled it better as I tried to link to the post on that issue.

Anyway. Have bigger issues than bubble algae right now. Haven’t been using the vibrant.

Re: vibrant/algaefix

Usage was no more than 50ml a week usually half that. Dosed sparingly over 2 months. 500g system volume.

- No adverse effects overall. Nutrients were around 10ppm NO3 and 0.1 ppm PO4.
- No negative effects with carbon dosing
- Didn’t kill any algae of note. Still have significant turf algae on my newly added rock.
- Doesn’t seem to have done anything. I did notice occasional bubble Algae turn white within a few days after dosing. Gave me hope. But bubble algae never stopped.
-coralline covered rock was fine.
- coal growth not impaired
- I have purchased a lot of snails lately.
- Shipping snails is never great so hard to say if reduced numbers are due to vibrant. I suggest no considering other mollusks. Though dosage was not high.
- Can say I didn’t lose any of my large Mex turbos.
- My squamosa clam also had no ill effects.
- the octopus had no issues when I dosed it.

I will update if I ever tackle bubble algae.
