Not from BRS. I got it from an out of town garage fish store. The stand is actually tall enough and I can probably remove the refugium partion to make it fit but I don’t think my tank will survive without my refugium

you could always do a ATS off to the side that is what I will be doing with my RS750...or even a few upflow ATS that is my back up plan if I cant fit the ATS box in my new system. just a thought & something to think about.

Definitely. Not sure if I can add anything on the mid section of the stand. I’ll check it out

So instead of plumbing the new and old tank. ( i’m really bad at plumbing)

10 gallon water change fron the newtank water to the 75 gallon every day. I’m thinking that this will slowly acclimate my livestock to get ready for the big move this weekend.

Has anyone done this before?

How did you acclimate your livestock to a bew tank?

TRANSFER DAY 12/2/18

First of all thanks to @acro-ed for helping with the tranfer. The transfer went very smooth and only took less than 2 hrs to at least have the return pump running, heater on and skimmer on. Basically just the bare bone equipment to keep the livestock survive a day

The lights took about two days to put up just because I had to run to the hardware to buy a ceiling hook and screws to mount the Kessil AP700

I hate that the Aquaticlife hybrid plugs comes out of each end. Why not just have both plugs come out to 1 end. Or better yet have only 1 plug? @AquaticLifeProducts

My captive bred mandarin dragonet jumped last night

I know that I don’t have a “ jumper” fish and he’s the least one that I would suspect. Although he has been hanging out on the surface at night since the transfer.

It’s a sad day today. I’m seriously regretting not getting a lid.

Another fish mistake.

I saw an awesome moorish idol at WWC eating like a pig with algea on a clip andfrozen food. I knew that they can nip on corals. I know people would have luck that they would not touch corals as well. I thought that since this one eats a lot of prepped food he might not care to eat my corals.

So within 24 hrs of being in my tank... he tasted ALL of my chalices and favias! He kept of eating one of them in front of me too almost mocking me.

I collected all my encrusting LPS in one corner and guarded them

He was immediately posted on facebook and was sold the next day.

Has anyone been lucky with a good citizen moorish idol?

To connect a single power to both fixtures would make it difficult to allow the fixture to be expanded and reduced in size. We allow the fixtures to be adjusted from 16" to 24". That or we would need to make the fixture fully assembled and not allow them to be adjustable.

To have the cords from only one side would require twice the tooling and all the weight would be pulled to one side of the fixture.

We have modified some fixtures in the past when customer contact us to help with peninsula setups. This style setup seems to generate the most requests for the cords on one side, which makes sense.

Thanks for the reply!

Now I wish I would have known that you would modify it for people with peninsula style setups.

I just lazily pulled the cord to one side and bought a 3 ft extension cord. I’m not that tall enough to see the cord anyway.

If you ever want to change let us know. You have one of the few 61" white in the country. We did not think they were that popular but we sold out quickly.

Good looking setup, by the way!!!

Looks great so far. What are you doing for flow on this? I know it's always a challenge with peninsulas.
I’m using 2 Wavs on one of the short end. So far it seems like it’s giving a very narrow stream that it reaches the other end but really weak. The fishes are hanging out on the short viewing end because of the lower flow I think. I’m really trying not to have anything on the short viewing side. I have an extra gyre that I used for my 75 gallons. I may use that on the same side of the wavs and see
