Hey everyone .
Decided to share my new build with everyone .
I am going to build a custom 5ft L x 2.5ft W x 2 ft H peninsula style reef

after getting my feet wet about 2 years ago with my first tank and then shortly after adding another used system to the mix . ive decided to custom design my own style of tank to achieve the best look in my home .

I am going to be designing and building a steel frame for the tank myself using 2" x 2" x 1/8 square steel tubing

i have one of the best local to me aquarium builder putting together my design for the aquarium. i am doing euro bracing with a coast to coast styled overflow on one end

he will also put together my custom sump for me.

i intend to use most of the gear from my existing 130g system and all of my livestock and rock as i will be replacing that system with this one .
which includes a reef octopus classic 200 skimmer , jbj artica 1/3 hp chiller DBM-250 with pump, jebao dp-4 doser , jebao return pump & wave makers , Kessil and vipraspectra lights etc..

This new system should be around 250g total system volume..

Hope you guys enjoy the journey with me ..
