Looks great! Any special fish stocking plans?
Probably the fish we have in the 110G frag tank. Orange spotted rabbitfish, naso, clown tang, bi-color angel, 3 fat pajama cardinals. I may just go with a bunch of chromis and anthias for color.

But LOTS of SPS, especially acros.

Will you be placing both mp-60 on the wall side of the tank?
Yes, one on each side of the overflow. Probably a Gyre on the overflow, too. The MP60s and the return pump are all Mobius-controllable, but I think setting the MP60s to alternate flow patterns will help with dead spots and simulate the ebb and flow of a reef current will be beneficial.

Time for scratch removal and polishing. Fortunately, no deep scratches on the exterior. 800 grit wet/dry paper gently used with water to take care of scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail. Then on to Novus 3, followed by Novus 2. Finally, water and a Magic Eraser to remove stuck-on residue and a paper towel for the final cleaning. So far, so good. One big downside, though. See next post.

The scratches inside are everywhere! That may be a sign that they can't be seen when it's full of water, but I just have to see what I can do.

Outstanding - great job on the cleanup! You're way more talented than me.. I've hired pros to buff my acrylic tank instead.

Following along - good luck with the build.
Thanks, but I don't think there are any pros way up here.

Not talented, as much as being cheap and thinking I can do good enough to minimize the effects.

Well, I heard of a pro on R2R with a handle of "AKReefing" -- perhaps you can give him a call? ;) Anyway, it took 2 guys ~6 hours to buff my 8x3x2 tank. It would take me several weeks (if I'm lucky) with lots of blood, sweat, and tears!

Probably a thin layer of sand. I literally have a pallet of aragonite sand.
You're not worried about scratching it later? On my new build, I'm going to go bare bottom just to make sure I won't pick up some sand; otherwise, it will be a very bad day!

So here's the final stage after cleaning, removing as many scratches as practical (and as many as I care to deal with), and final polish and buffing. 2 1/2 full days spent in a cramped area. Ankles, knees, hips and shoulders need some therapy. I'm too old for this.
