Well, it's "new" to me anyway. I found someone selling their less-than-2-year-old custom 275 gallon, 6-foot long acrylic aquarium. I was fortunate enough that it came with a lot of great stuff, and she almost gave it to me. It also came with a treasure trove of good stuff: three XR15W Gen 6 Radions (yeah, really undersized for the size of tank), a Felix Smart controller, a Trigger Systems SR44 sump, a Reefer skimmer, a Vectra L2 Mobius return pump, two VorTech MP60 Mobius pumps, an ATO system, a Sapphire 10 gallon ATO reservoir, an UPS, and a few odds and ends. We agreed on a super low price, but before I could start stripping it down, she snagged the Felix Smart controller and the UPS. It was still a heck of a deal.

Citric acid solution to remove hundreds of coralline algae spots, and a Magic Eraser to remove the coating of green algae.

Must be very exciting
Considering my location--the center of Alaska--it was a great find and an even greater deal. My current 110G is just being used as a frag tank. I'm thrilled to have a display tank.

Here's the supports I installed in the crawl space. I'm sure the floor is strong enough to support the weight, but I wanted a bit of extra to prevent any sag. Each one is rated at 5,000 pounds.

This is the diagram showing the floor joists (24" on center) , the outline of the aquarium stand, and the cross-brace.

Both MP60s have been soaked in a citric acid bath, then scrubbed clean. I've updated their firmware and added them to my Mobius account. They seem to run fine.
