No ghost. I'm real, just glad to be here and share whats going on reef system. I'm still new to reef2reef just excited that's all. last time i check i wasn't a gang member. ask Rodney, dy was his brain child.... (god loves loves all his children)
just ordered my mp10 for my tank from BLRS... should have it within the week..... also any thought on how long i should run my lights.. 75gal mixed reef
I moved the 2 Koralia 1050 gph powerheads out of my 120 into my 40B. Moved the 750 gph Koralia from the 40B to the center of my 120, and added 2 1400 gph Koralias in the 120.The 750 in my 120 is on a wavemaker set at 1 minute on/off. Oh! I dosed the tank too, and cleaned my skimmer.
Im gonna measure out the new qater changing station, 2 100 gallon tanks.. Motorized this time. with one click of a switch.....bam!!
cant wait to put the other mp40 and 2 60s on my 324! the one 40 is VERY impressive!
there are give and take with AI Sol and Radions. I am getting 2 pro's for the frag system, but sticking with AI's for the big DT. Opinions very, AI have a better penetration, but Radions do a more side coverage. It can be argued all day which is better. So i be going with both so i can cover both angles. lol
Cory: for the record, you're not going to get the same coloration and growth out of corals under LEDs as you would with metal halides. The technology has come a long way but in my opinion it's not all the way there yet. I like LEDs for actinic supplementation but not as main lights over a tank.
Corey: Well if you can afford Led's they are def the way to go...as soon as i can get them and not go into the poor house, i will definitely rock some led's. Ive been to one of east Tenn biggest coral supplier, and what do you know they use Led's. but like i said it all depends on the pocket book. metal halide t-5 combo works great as well..personally i would use led, but what do i know. i'm just a ghost gangster.......(Jesus love all his children)
