I just switched from NTM to tunze mode and am seeing some good results but seriously i made a habit of using almost every mode. So, for three days i would run a mode then i would switch to the next mode and so on. This really gave me the best result, have a good one, hope this helps
Mine goes from Reef Crest to Pulse throughout the day. But does anyone else notice that the dry side gets really really hot when it's on any of the pulse modes? Sorry, not trying to change the subject
I use to run 2 MP40's and 1 MP10 on my 120g (4x2x2) and ran the two MP40's on Reef Crest Mode anti sync and the MP10 on Long Pulse mode. This seemed to be the best flow pattern for my system and the corals all appeared to be happy! Right now I'm running a Jebao WP40 in place of one of the MP40's due to a failed wet side.
I have been trying to figure out my vortexes on my 180. I don't really like them. I have four mp40 all pretty much on a row mid height on the back wall of my 180. I can't seem to get enough high flow and reef crest spends too much time in the lower portion of the speed. All are on reef crest and none are synced together. Thursday I moved my 3 large rocks from the places to either side to siphon and there was a ton of detritus under the rocks and in back corners. Not sure if I should run on nutrient transport or if I should put one on each side of my tank and then two on the back. Any suggestions would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks
