We have great options for an active daytime clean up crew, snails hermit's, various crabs, starfish etc and we love watching our awesome aquariums in the day

Have you actually thought of the possibility of a night time clean up crew along with setting up your aquarium ,
What do you think is best clean up crew for after 'lights off'

Do You look at your aquarium after lights off :)

Yes. My "after lights" cleanup crew consists of a very large mutant trochus snail, a fat abalone and a fleet or nassarius snails and their offspring. Plus all the Halloween and scarlet hermit crabs that typically only come out at night.

I'm not sure what the distinction is, most of the creatures you list are more active at night. A more exclusive one would be sea cucumbers, which will generally hide during the day, but my snails, crabs, peppermint shrimp, urchins, and conchs are all out more or are more active at night than during the day.

I don't have a snapshot of him as he typically hangs out in a cave during the day and only comes out at night to feed, but using someone else's "king turbo snail" vs. "regular turbo snail" for reference, this is a rough approximation (within 10-15%).

When I get him to cooperate I'll be happy to oblige. He's similar to yours - just about 6-8x that size...
My trocus not massive like a fist sized, I have these also

I don't find anything in my tank is exclusively nightime except my money cowrie and when i had it, my stomatella. All my other snails, tuxedo urchins wander around 24/7.
