We got a new clown fish who started to host in our anemone…since then it has started to grow a white swollen bubble at its mouth. This is what it looks like tonight! (Food and frequency of feedings has not changed)

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

I don't know what's going on with the nem here, but I'll give you a bump - hopefully someone who knows will chime in.

Does it still look like this? My anemones will do this sometimes while feeding as they are trying to maneuver food from their tentacles to the oral cavity. But I have never seen the mouth this inflated. Can you get some more pictures? Sick anemones will invert their oral cavity sometimes and expose their "intestines" but this "mouth" still looks closed. They also sometimes inflate really unevenly when they are trying to move around or split. If it's still like it is in the picture then something is wrong.
