I have a 40 gallon tank set up for a peacock mantis shrimp and have a few questions about feeding. I see some people online feed their mantis shrimp whole clams. Some people feed them clams frozen and some are live. I have two questions about this. First of which is where do you get whole clams frozen. No matter where I look everything is clams on a half shell which wouldn’t do justice for the mantis. Second question is can you buy live clams from a market and feed them to your fish because I’m not sure if that would be fish safe. Thanks!

My grocery store has whole clams. Wildcaught, depending on country of origin, I would think would be about as close to safe as possible.
