My new "golden" algae blenny, it less than inch.

Just in the tank, still "golden"

newblenny1_zps64210b97.jpg

It is now black, but still out in the open. I have another one -- fully grown, about 5 years in my care -- that will get darker from time to time, so I expect this one to get back to yellow once it matures,

The other one I have,

A quick video of the new one (( when it was still yellow )) --- ignore the algae issues, back has been bad, and haven't been doing water changes ))

I know I dont really post here (I'm from the nyreefs forum and visit for the aquasd live sales :D ) but I couldnt help posting a picture of my blenny, Jade, since she was my first saltwater fish and is my username's namesake afterall.Plus I'm a huge blenny fan in general

She's a brachiosaurus blenny which I know aren't common so I'm curious if there's anyone else here who owns one?

Let's see more blennies!!!

My newest and all-time favorite blenny is my Pictus Blenny. (White Comb-tooth Blenny; E. pictus.)
The personality of the Escenius sp. of blennies is very endearing; and this one doesn't disappoint.
I have a Fluval M60 set up just for this blenny and some gobies; and other small favorite fish.

And my Midas Blenny from my 120gal reef.
It is fun to watch this fish swim along with the anthias and try to blend in.
