Well, it's actually called a Brain Freeze since it helps the National Brain Tumor Society.

Mike and I did this last year on our own: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/help-us-get-a-brain-freeze.232995/

We thought it would be fun to have a CTARS Team this year.

In order to do it, we would need a headcount of those who would like to participate by this Saturday 1/28/17.

Everyone is responsible for raising a minimum amount.

There's usually a costume contest that day as well...so we can all dress up as we jump in the freezing cold ocean.

I have to find out the exact date, but it is a weekend in March. Usually a Sunday.

Please post in this thread to let me know.

Last year it was in the West Haven/Milford area.

Thanks.

Nichole and Mike

You want me to jump into freezing cold ocean water in the middle of winter? Um, are you crazy?! :p HA! I'm so not down for this, but of course I'll make a donation, you can count on that! ;)

I did my time diving in frigid waters... North Atlantic, fishing long lines hung up on Submarine... I didn't think I could turn that shade of blue... I will donate but count me out for the plunge.
