Apex trident B test fail.
Hi Got a used apex had to clear the inlet line and outlet line to get it to work. It worked great for 2 days now im getting a test B fail. Alk is still working. I checked all the lines on the manifold ,bottle is half full. Pickup tube is still attached. Not sure whats going on with it ? Anyone...

If me and my wife are lucky enough to win this contest, we would start by removing our new tank from the packaging. Together with our two wonderful dogs we would set up the stand in our living room. We would get the tank in place and then set up the sump(we have always wanted to set up a sump). Carefully spending the next week or so perfecting our aqua scape and really taking our time to make a very beautiful life like reef with Carib sea life rock as she favours the purple in the beginning (our favourite part in the beginning). I think we would choose either bare bottom or Carib sea Fiji pink for substrate. Then we would mix the Red Sea blue bucket with our ro/di water to the perfect salinity. Adding the mixed water slowly to the tank making sure that we do not mess the sand up to bad. Once the tank of full we would turn on the return pum,heater and add a wave maker.
Now to cycle the tank.
We would use bright well aquatics microbacer start xlm
Checking our water perimeters every week or so until we see the ammonia and the nitrites hit zero. Once this happens then we will add some fish food.
Testing frequently everyday to watch the cycle go through the stages.
Once the tank has been confirmed cycled we will add two fish and of course me and my wife love clown fish. What a perfect pair of fish to add to our new tank! 2 black and white clowns.
Along with our lovely pair of fish we will add a good clean up crew. Some turbo snails, hermits, astera snails and maybe a cleaner shrimp.
Now for an couple easy corals. We are thinking pulsing Xenia and some zoanthids maybe some Rasta or blood suckers.
After about a month or so of stability will will be ready to add some more corals and 1 more fish.
We are thinking a yellow watchman golby and maybe a pistol shrimp if we can find a pair.
as for the corals we would love to get some torches and some hammers. Maybe Mr freeze fabia, some mushrooms, more zoanthids and some acros maybe.
The most important thing along the way is to take our time and enjoy. This would be such an amazing gift and a blessing for our family.
It’s very hard to sum it all up in one message.
Also if we win we will start a YouTube channel about our journey with our new reef tank.
