So who's the model in your Google sketch, Vic or Lou? Haha! Looks good. If I had the money and the means I'd buy your tank "as is" before you tear it down.

Frag discs occupy more almost every square inch on 1/2 the bottom of the 300 gallon tank. As you start putting them into the new tank, you might start accidentally breaking the discs with the chalices on it. When you do that, ship it over to me and I'll glue it back together for you. I might forget to ship them back though... :xd:

So what are the measurements on the Overflow boxes and holes drilled in each? Are you using a "special" plumbing method (i.e., Herbie) or the standard one return line, one drain in each overflow box?

Thanks,

Chad

lol!!! Your funny Carlos! VERY funny!

Any updates? I wish I didn't have to work and could just watch the build in person!

Yes. We went and checked out the tank in person last weekend! LOL!!! We are open 7 days a week! You should come by and hang out.

There is only one overflow box. It will have (2) 1.5" drains and (2) 1" returns. The drains will have durso silencers.

Looking good! How thick is the glass on this tank? I read through the thread again and didn't see it listed (may have missed it).

that really is going to be a sweet tank.Felix does amazing work,i have an Elos right now and am gladly taking it down to put up a new Reef Saavy tank.his craftmanship is second to none and the price he charges is well worth it IMO.i will have to come see the new tank once its all setup and running.
