In the case of a tie, the mod team will assist in choosing the winner. Rules, deadlines and terms are subject to change, without notice, at any time.

As this is a photography competition, and the goal is to recognize the highest quality picture, each month we will provide a few tips on capturing quality images in general, and also in aquaria specifically. We hope these prove to be useful in capturing your images.

Tip #1:
Learn how to shoot in manual mode so you have full control and not relying on the camera to make important decisions for you.

Tip #2:
Try shooting in RAW format. Then use a good raw processing software program such a Lightroom to post-process your images.

Tip #3:
If possible, try shooting under a whiter light for truer color rendition.

Tip #4:
May seem obvious, but make sure your aquarium glass is clean. Also, turn off all pumps/flow while shooting your images.
