Neptune Apex Programming Tutorials Part 8 and Conclusion: Lunar Schedule and Lighting Profiles

great article, very useful step-by-step.

However, I guess people with 'legacy' classic apex are out of luck with this, or am i missing the instructions for the classic version?

thanks
Very informative, about lights with an apex. How ever, I have a KessilA360x. ordered a Kessil cable for my apex. Found out later, the cable does not work with that light, Any ideas on how to make it work?? Thank you
Thank you very much for such a good explanation. I am starting to install my aquarium, I acquired the Neptune System and it is helping me a lot to understand the settings.
Thank you so much for putting this series together!!!!

extremely helpful and I like others have not digested it all yet.

Got a question, how to do this and also let the moon light changing the intensity too? Than you need 29 profile of different intensity?

While this is a great idea, there’s no practical way to do it since the If Moon command only evaluates as True or False letting you know if the moon is visible. It doesn’t have any way to tell you the phase of the moon. There’s also no day of month command, only day of week (using If DoW), so you really don’t have any way to track what intensity to activate.
Very useful series. I learned a lot of great stuff. THANK YOU!
