Scientific Name - Orectolobus maculatus

Common Name - Spotted Wobbegong (Common Wobbegong)

Size - 10.4 ft. (3.2m)

Min. Aquarium Size - 1,000 US Gal. (3785 L)

Foods and Feeding - Meaty foods, fresh shrimp, scallops, marine fish flesh. Feed to satiation 2 times a week. Feeding of large prey items may cause bloating and flotation of the specimen.

Reef Compatibility - Not Recommended

Captive Care - Ambush predator, inactive during the day, a voracious feeder, more than one in the same system can be kept, will consume other Sharks, may consume own species. A stable cave or sheltering ledge is required where it can hide.
