I have a Z. scopas (Scopas tang) in my 75 reef and am thinking of adding a C. strigosus (Kole tang). I'm a little concerned that they are too similar in shape and color, and there will be aggression issues. What are folks thoughts?

Thanks,
Tom

I have never kept a Scopas Tang before, but hear they are pretty mellow. Kole Tangs can be pretty aggressive at times once mature. So in all likelihood adding a Kole would be ok, however two Tangs in a 75 is questionable. For that reason, I would suggest looking to other fish. If they don't get along, there are not many places to go in a 75...

I have the following:
Yellow tang (2)
Tomoni
Hippo
Sailfin
Powder blue

They all school together and only get aggressive at feeding time.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I'm most worried about.

What size tank are they all in?

My first instinct was that it wouldn't be wise. I think a small blenny is in my future.

Thanks for the replies everyone!
