alright ive been working on this for a long time and still in the progress

Main tank will be 281g euro braced with 2 sides starfire 60"x36"x30"T by Aquarium creations

Frag tank will be 152g euro braced with 3 sides starfire 54"x24"x27"T by Leemar

So far equipment i have:

1-Reeflo Hammerhead
3-Vortech mp40wes
1-Vortech mp40w
1-ATI Sunpower 6x54w
1-ATI Powermodule 8x54w
1-Reef Octopus 5000ext skimmer

Here's a sketch i did so you have a better idea

I'm thinking of making the jump to leds but still not sure. Give me your opinion on what lighting you would use if this was your setup.This is what I'm thinking led wise radion, vega, diy but I want it very clean looking. How many would I need?

I voted DIY, they are cheap and fun to build. Not sure how many you would need but I have 24 bridgelux with no optics mounted in the hood of my BC29. At about 50% I have sps growing on the sand. Vega's are sick as well though.

There is 3 outlets in the fishroom each with its own 20a breaker. Each has its own ethernet cable and conduit linking each other together. I have them about 7ft off the ground. There is also a fan for ventilation which pulls in fresh air in through the cold air intake

DIY LED most definitely. I am putting 104 3W Bridgelux on full spectrum blend with optics over a 120 (24X24X48) and figure on being to grow SPS in the top 2/3 of the tank with some creative aquascaping to protect lower light babies....

Maybe I am mis-understanding you, but are those ethernet cables in the same conduits as the electrical?

Ethernet and electrical cables run into the same box the conduits are empty right now I'm gonna run my aquabus cables through the conduit for my apex

I totally agree I can't believe my wife agreed to it. Now I'm trying to convince her to let me put a 300g into the garage plumbled into the main system

I am thinking of getting rid of my sro5000ext skimmer and picking up the sro xp8000ext
also on my list
1 SRO BR-200 or BR-140 bio pellet reactor
2 SRO MF-2000 media reactor

Let me know your opinions as I'm open to anything
