ok, I bought a tek II 2x 80w T5 retro from sunlight supply, it was SUPPOSED to have a wiring guide with it but....not in this box:cry:

It has a fulham workhorse7 ballast with it and either I suck at wiring, my ballast is a dud, or my bulb is bad(new 80w ATI blue+).

I went to fulham's site and found a diagram that is for 4x 54w bulbs and it looked to have one red wire (there's 4 on here with one yellow) to one side of each bulb and then the other side of each all chain together to the yellow wire.....I did that and it didn't turn on.

p.s. I will have a second bulb to test with on Friday (UPS snapped one of them in 2:after_boom:)

Man that's a tough call!
I had a similar situation and all I can say is get the manual!
Ballasts aren't free if it's your fault for wiring it wrong!

I learned the hard way haha

From Fulham's site. This is the configuration for a 2x80W T5HO setup. The right side labeled "linear" obviously.

well I wired it up as to the diagram in cparka23's post when I got the replacement bulb...... and nothing.:beat_brick: I know there is power going to the ballast (tested with a 12v wire tester....I do not have a DMM and the tester did fry the resistor....knew it would if I left it on too long....) am I doing something wrong or is the ballast a dud?
here are some pics of the wiring (testing only all connections are making good contact)

edit: OK, went out and bought a DMM and it just confirmed what I thought... power going into the ballast but nothing coming out of any of the red leads.....
