It's not that unbelievable. I'm pretty sure the same thing happened last year or the year before. Walmart and the other big box stores know that the crowds get out of control but they don't care because they have counted thier beans.

Ours is open 24/7 and ppl just go in the sotre early here and load their carts up and stay in the store til 5 am and then check out, but its still really crowded just no rushing in!

Walmart won't be taking care of his family without a fight. He was sent from a temp agency. One of the reasons companies hire from temp agencies is so that they are not on the hook for health insurance, disability, worker's compensation etc.

I lined up at Best Buy @ 12am, and didn' t get in until 5am when they opened. One of the workers said a man cut the line of a several hundred people and it made a woman mad so she took the matters in her own hands. The woman ended up punching the guy in the face.

Normal people turn into raging idiots when it comes to shopping. There was at least four wrecks today and at Kohls, they had to dispatch FIVE police cars to stop fist fights.

That mans family will never see him again, so we could save $20. If Wal-mart does not do his family justice I think they should be shut down.

I just stay home and order online. Sent to my house with no problems like this. These are the types of things I will never understand. And on WalMart thing , this is one company who could care less about anyone , just keep those dollars rolling in

I agree but I can pretty much assure you that unless there is a lot of public pressure focused on Walmart it will not do anything of the sort.

I hope the people that saved their measly 20% on useless items that will be forgotten in a month or two are really happy with their purchases. These people have lost their lives because of worthless humans wanting to save a couple of bucks. You must really want that Elmo doll to trample another person- I hope Karma is true and the ones that contributed get what they deserve.

this happens every year somewhere. When are these places going to realize they have to do this differently. Make them go in 1 at a time or something. Don't let them bum rush the doors. They actually broke the doors. It is utterly disgusting that they trample that man to death. DISGUSTING that they did not stop to help him, just kept on going. Disgusting. The Karma Kitty will get them, that is for sure.

Everyone in line is at fault starting with the folks in the back that were pushing they shoulda locked down the store and prosecuted everyone inside after they got in cops could have guarded each entrance.
