I'm in the process of cycling my 275 gallon system and im looking for input on starting the use of EcoBak. My system was started completely sterile with the exception of 2 LBS of live sand. Current day eleven parameters are Ammonia 1.5 ppm, Nitrite 1.0 ppm and Nitrate 20 ppm. I'm interested on weather the high Ammonia/Nitrite would damage or delay the colonization of the EcoBak.

Thanks

Bob

Hello Bob,

The "seeding time" of the ecoBAK is 3-4 weeks anyway... so there's no harm in getting them running now.
