Four years ago I set out to build my "dream" system.
Here's where we are today.Tank was started 11/11/12, and is now in the process of being stocked.

The System consists of:
  • 29gal Display
  • Homemade Stand
  • Eshoops RS200 sump; slightly modified for more space
  • Reef Octopus: 200 Skimmer, Bio Pellet Reactor, and Carbon Reactor
  • 2 Danner Mag 5 pumps. One for return and one for the reactors.
  • Ecotech Vortech Mp10es
  • Digital Aquatics ReefKeeper Lite Controller
  • Glo 2x24" T5HO Light Fixture (planning to upgrade to LEDs in the future)
  • BRS 75gpd 4 stage RO/DI
I custom built the stand and added some under cabinet lights to help illuminate things. This picture is prior to painting.

Wiring complete, pumps in place. The pumps are sitting on a support I made to hold the drain lines in place.

Here is the filtration system up and running, please excuse the wiring mess i haven't decided how I want to mount the controller yet.

I will be adding my two clowns any day now, I have to go pick them up from a friends house. They are my clowns from my very first SW tank, so I can't wait to get them back!!

Haven't been in a while, but the tank has been coming along quite nicely.

Since my last post I have added:
My two clowns
Clown goby
Purple phuesdochromis
3 nasarious snails ( these guys are a blast to watch! Everyone should get some!)
Rose head brain coral
Mixed zoanthids
Green long tentacle anemone
Small 5 head torch coral

Couldn't help but share these. These are pictures of our anemone Nemmers and his new friend our Clown Goby. This seemed very strange to me since I havent seen our goby out in open water ever, and I hadnt seen him at all in over a week

cute picture of the goby with his friend Nemmers

Thank you, they were a great pair but the goby (Hunter) is quite the nomad and has since moved on.

His current "home"
