Oh NO! One Of Our Own Got Robbed!

$30,000 is a lot of corals and dry goods.
This sounds to me like a publicity stunt, as well as false estimates.

It's either 30 ATI Modules, or 30 buckets of LE or Tyree corals.

Looks like they broke through the gate, which means they must have traveled by foot.
3 guys, 2 buckets each 6 total, no fishes caught, this just means that they're just there with backpacks and a few buckets taken from the store and hauled away by foot.
If it were on vehicle, there would have been signs of it within the vicinity.

Looks like this was all premeditated that's for sure, very unfortunate.

Hope they get caught!

Wow!! Unreal. Why would you post something like this!!

Man that really sux!!! these guys r gonna get caught quick cause wat normal hobbyist is gonna be selling like 5 ati fixture brand new? From wat i was seeing in their display tanks were some pretty nice chalice colonies that were prolly most of the estimate

Ed and Stacie are stand up people and I hope the people responsible are brought to justice sooner than later...

Absolutly stupid that anyone would steal so much. Im not sure how $30,00 was took in seven minutes, but those guys must have been high tailing it out of that store VERY fast...I truly hope these individuals get caught...

Obviously if they didnt release the tape theres probably more they didnt release. Just because they dont show it or tell it dont mean it aint there. They said they were passing buckets out the door which means they were taking them somewhere. You know how much coral you could haul out in buckets in 7 minutes. An A**load. Not to mention the dry goods. Its not that hard. Why would you waste time trying to catch fish anyway. They knew what they were doing and probably had it planned for a while. As much coral as they had in there and dry goods it wouldn't be that hard to rack up 30 grand. It's obvious some people don't think b4 they speak. Hope they get caught soon. Morons!

+1

That's a lot of coral/dry goods.

my thoughts are with Ed and Stacie...sorry to hear this and hopefully the low lives who did this will be caught very soon! people are dirt bags when it comes down to it

30k In my opinion would not be too many 5 gallon buckets of high end corals. Plus ati fixtures.
Figure how a thief steals, just throwing thousands of dollars into a bucket anticipating coral lost but not caring because a percentage will make it. I hope these guys get caught, Our coffee farm back in the 90's was robbed so often we sold the farm.

It would be a good idea to eventually form a list of what they took and post it on all the forums. That way they can't just pm special coral deals to people. If the coral details are posted we all can help track down these thieves. I hope they at least get some insurance money. If you think about it from a business perspective, the value could easily be $30,000 with cost of maintenance, salt, RO, electricity, rent, time, etc etc etc.

Man... did some business racerw a few times and they are some of the best people ! i Hate this kinda stuff.. The thieves will get it back 10 folds. And i wish you guys luck with all these S!

really nice store
. i loved staring into that tank on the back
so many sick corals and large colonies that could easily total 30k

i hope they get back what they did ten fold. i work for a grocery store and all we do every day is catch thieves. its getting ridiculous

the falling economy squeezes scum out ..........
