$30,000 is a lot of corals and dry goods.
This sounds to me like a publicity stunt, as well as false estimates.

It's either 30 ati modules, or 30 buckets of le or tyree corals.

Looks like they broke through the gate, which means they must have traveled by foot.
3 guys, 2 buckets each 6 total, no fishes caught, this just means that they're just there with backpacks and a few buckets taken from the store and hauled away by foot.
If it were on vehicle, there would have been signs of it within the vicinity.

Looks like this was all premeditated that's for sure, very unfortunate.

Hope they get caught!

just like the comment I made on the article, 1 5g bucket and 5 minutes I coulda hit 30k. I know what I am looking for and to steal coral these guys or at least 1 of them knew what he was looking at, imagine a 15 eye crazy fox, maybe what? 3x3 or 4x4 tops? There is 15k retail. 2-3 inch aussie stick? 200-300 bucks. I have NO DOUBT about 30k in 7 minutes with 3 guys, again retail price that is SIMPLE, just because we are spoiled rotten by our sponser don't go thinking thats normal.

As a hobbiest having a store like Bio Reef is what we are all looking for. The many corals and fish make it worth while to visit this store. Ed, Max and Jim are assets to our hobby. Always being helpful and friendly makes shopping there a great experience. I too, hope whoever is responsible gets caught. My hope is that Ed's store will recover from this and Jacksonville will continue to have great place to supply our hobbiest......Mike
