I have a small black with pink "feet" he's been in the front right corner of my tank since I put him in. He's a filter feeder as well. I'll get a good pic later today

Anyone else keep these guys?

I had a beautiful pink and green one for a bout 3 weeks. My favorite specimen. Then I decided to not take the risk the whole tank.

I think a lot of the dangers are vastly overrated.

That being said I did have a medusa worm get sucked into a powerhead and kill all of my fish in minutes. But the entire 12" got spewed over my 25g. This cucumber I have now hasn't moved since last Christmas haha

Possibly, but my fish started to cost more, so I decided to not risk it. I did love it though. Mine never moved from the flow of the hydor

I have kept tiger tail cucumbers before in my reef. They actually split and I had a couple of them roaming around before I broke down the tank when I moved. Just make sure the rocks in the tank are supported by the bottom of the tank and not the sand. The seek out the dirty places to clean first. I think most reef safe fish leave them alone and there would only be an issue if they are being attacked or get sucked into a power head.
