So I got (in my mind [emoji23]) a cool tiki aquarium ornament I want to add to my little BioCube29 reef tank. The tank is five months old. My idea inspired by another R2R member is to put some green star polyps on the tiki's head.

The problem is, my tiki arrived and it's hollow inside, so I have nothing to attach the coral to. Also I don't especially want my clowns getting stuck inside it (the eye holes are a little smaller than they are).

I think (?) the best solution (other than not using it) is to stuff it with something that will both prevent the clowns from getting inside and also will make a good surface to put the coral on.

Any ideas what to put inside it? I thought of adding tiny bits of live or dry rock but I don't want it to affect my system negatively.

Would that be ok? Any other ideas?
