Found these in my tank while looking at it with a flash light , very small so it was hard to get a picture but if anyone would be able to tell me what they are or what they could be I’d appreciate it. I added what video and pictures I could take after catching two in sample cup
I’m guessing it is either an aberrant multispinus or heraldi angel, but I’m not too sure. Anyone have an idea what this fish is? It came from a Sri Lanka shipment. Sorry for crappy pics
Ya’ll, what are these?? This tank also has strangely large amphipods and an over abundance of them. This tank also has 2 pincushion urchins that refuse to eat the green algae in that particular area. Lots of amphipods and weird worms living in green algae, never seen before. No wrasse in this...
I was playing with my microscope looking at algae i got from the bottom of my copepod "farm". I saw something and made photos and video of it. On one side it had some sort of tube that was moving left and right like it was searching for food(like an elephant tube) and on the other side it had...

Hey everyone so i saw a “decorator snail” at my lfs and went home to do research on it just to find out it’s actaully a carrier snail.anyways after research for about a week I went back and got the snail during my research I’ve realized there little to no documentation of these guys in the reef...
I've been noticing this for a while, but today it seems to be almost overtaking the heads.
My first thought was to try to blow it away (that is why the colony looks that way.)
It doesn't budge.
I'm assuming I need to improve my flow in that general area but first... I need to figure out what...
I posted this on a FB group, but wanted to share here as well to get your expert opinion. Any idea what's this "thing" on my toadstool? Someone on FB said barnacle. I Google'd it and it looks like it but not sure (I had no idea what a barnacle was until 5 minutes ago :p)
What do you guys...
I observed this critter in one of my store tanks for about two months. I have unfortunately moved and never managed to get better photography so I'm afraid this will have to do. I'm just fascinated by them because I have not been able to ID them for months! I have collected a couple other posts...
When cleaning my tank my trachi closed up slightly and I noticed this weird thing underneath with an aptasia looking thing but clear and there was a funnel sort of thing under it. Really unsure as to what it is. I've had the trachi for about 4 months now but have only noticed this today
Hey everyone,
I was just doing my weekly water change when I noticed these eggs on my radions mounting arm. These eggs go out of the waterline and are about the half the size of a grain of rice. Any thoughts on what there from?
Thanks
I have had the frog spawn and the torch for 2-3 weeks. I have dipped them 4 times now in coral RX and still keep finding theses lil bugs crawling on them. Is this something I should be concerned.
