I have this aquarium for about 6months and the population of pineapple sponges has appearing to increase, is this too much, this a sump photo

I was wondering if anyone could confirm for me if these are pineapple sponges in my sump? I've got a Fluval 13.5G nano tank and these guys just started popping up everywhere in the sump. From what I've read, they're filter feeding, mainly eating organics and silicates?

Hi Everyone, are these pineapple sponges? And should i be concerned? I have a 38 gallon saltwater. Everything and everyone else is happy and healthy on the tank. Any help is appreciated!!

Hi all! So I get that they’re harmless except when there are more and more each day. Any way to rid or cut down the number of them. Also running a UV also.
