red sea reefer 525xl

Building a fully automated mixed reef tank. Its been a while and I'm a bit salty... Harry Potter collectable room with HP themed tank. 3D printing Hogwarts stuff and I'm getting close to install. I had to add some height to get the stand level in that tray so I could open the doors without...

Plan is to upgrade my Red Sea Reefer 525XL to a Waterbox Reef LX 330.7. Both tanks are FOWLR. With all the knowledge I've learned since starting this hobby and now I get the chance to restart, I felt it was a good idea to detail this journey and share it with fellow enthusiats.

Here's a quick update video. Enjoy and feel free to ask questions. thanks

I’ve just bought a Red Sea Reefer XL525 (108gal). I’ve got a sump with a reefmat 500 (not set up yet, waiting until I’m ready to stock tank) Red Sea Skimmer 300, some filter media and a heater and an octopus Varios 6 return pump. All pipe work was supplied with the tank. I’m struggling with the...

I have been reefing for over 8 years now and I am finally becoming more serious about coral growth and parameters and the overall health of my tank, rather than just reef keeping. I recently purchased and made the move to a Red Sea Reefer 525 XL. It has been set up for a little less than a...

Hi All, New to the world of saltwater and reef tanks, Previously many years ago had a 4ft freshwater tank that eventually got shutdown when construction for a new house resulted in renting during the build. Fast forward a few years and a 3.5 year old daughter later, She asks me if we can get...

Hello! I’m selling my RSR 525 XL including tank, stand, and sump. I’m moving out of state and don’t want to deal with transporting everything. Currently setup for three years, running great without leaks. I can only sell the tank, stand, sump, and plumbing as I’d like to setup a tank again in...

Current fav shot of tank: Firstly a note to wifey: Dear wife, futuretotm is not my account. The monetary amounts I have listed here are inflated and are to throw off the IRS. Also I love you. Customary: I’ve had a aquarium of sort since birth a young age. My dad had a black molly tank in...

Moving out of state and very sadly need to sell my fish and corals. I'm open to selling the whole setup including livestock, so pm me asap if you're into that. Its a Red Sea Reefer 525xl. Livestock for sale (pickup - Culver city) I'd maybe be open to shipping if I can get it off the...

Hey Guys! I am putting my Red Sea Reefer 525 for sale. The tank is in spectacular shape I've just gotten too busy and am not dedicating the kind of time to it that I'd like. Glass has no visible scratches, Stand is in near perfect condition, Coraline Growth just around the overflow. With the...

Thanks for checking out my thread! Recently moved and got around to cleaning out the garage. Need to try and get rid of some of this stuff that has been sitting around. If its still listed below it is still available! Pick up items are located in SWFL Due to their size I am not interested in...

Hello everyone. My name is Phillip aka Reefkpr on Youtube and CC_Reefkpr on IG. I've been Reefing for 25 years but fairly new to keeping SPS. I also have a 58 Gallon Oceanic Reef that has been running consistently for 25 years and a 40 gallon Breeder Frag tank. I'm Retired and totally addicted...

If she's referencing a new fish tank it's a good thing! The home tank is currently a 3 ft, 65 gallon Red Sea Reefer 250. We decided to upgrade and just ordered a 4 ft, 112 gallon Reefer 425 XL. Today when I was doing weekly maintenance she came in and told me she thinks we should get the...

Hi Everyone, So after 4 years on and off in this hobby ( more off ) and a reasonably successful last 12 months with a signature 600 and then a reefer 170, I now have a Reefer 525xl deluxe model. I have always found threads on tank builds a massive help and hopefully by me documenting my...

Third tanks the charm, right? ;) When I sold my last system I thought I would get out of the big tanks for a while and relearn the appreciation of having a small 30-40 gallon tank. I was tired of all the extra maintenance of the 300+ gallon system and because I was hating the extra work, the...
