Modifying RFS39 Sump for Reefmat 500

I'm starting to setup an IM100 EXT with the stock RFS39 sump, however I'm wanting to run the Reefmat 500 rather than filter socks. Would rather not have to change socks every few days! Wanted to document my attempt since I wasn't able to find great previous examples online. Let me know what you...

RFS 39 Sump

Does anyone actually run the IM sumps? I just put an order in for an IM EXT100 and that sump takes up the whole underneath of the stand.
