Recently acquired a new BTA along with the rock it was attached to. Was staring at her beauty when I seen this suprise on the rock too lol

I'm clueless on what it is! Can you help me solve this mystery AND let me know if it's a friend or foe?! TIA

2nd pic is zoomed in for close up...it's about quarter size. Tank lights was off when I snapped pic w flash on.

Aiptasia kill it with kalk paste. I’ve also used super glue and reef putty years ago which seemed to work but could’ve been a one off.

I always use natural vinegar to kill Aiptasia . It’s effective and harmless for the reef in small dosages.

Don’t admire it any longer, Kill it and make sure it’s dead! This will spread like a wildfire in your tank in no time. Plenty of easy ways to kill when it’s just one or two but if allowed to grow and spread Aptasia will not only look awful in your tank but it will sting all corals around it.

Natural ways of killing it.

Peppermint Shrimps and File fish.

Get rid of the rock if possible. I found one on a frag plug. Did not want to take a chance on spreading it.
